Once upon a time, there was a little girl who lived in a cottage in the forest. The little girl's name was Belle. Belle had long light brown hair and hazel eyes. She loved unicorns and believed very much that they were real. During the day she would read books about the history of unicorns. At night she would read the history of unicorns to fall asleep. She wished to meet a unicorn.
One night the little girl was sleeping and a fairy came to her window. The little girl opened it. The fairy told her there was a baby unicorn that an evil monster took and that the little girl needed to save it. The little girl asked, “Why can’t you choose anyone else?” “Because you believe the most in unicorns,” the fairy answered. “Beware of the monster. He will try to attack you,” the fairy then warned. “Wear this.” The fairy gave Belle the heart shaped diamond necklace that the fairy was wearing, ”It will give you some of my ice powers and my super speed powers. Hopefully they will help you battle the monster.”
Belle and the fairy stayed up to discuss a plan. “You are going to leave the house at 12 o’clock in the afternoon. You are going to go to the monster’s house. It is a big, red house that has a big brown door with a giant semicircle window on top. You are going to sneak up on the monster from behind and you’re going to use the necklace to freeze him. Then, you are going to take the baby unicorn and fly her back to me. I will bring her back home safe and sound,” the fairy explained. “Okay. I will do it but I’m nervous,” replied Belle. Belle was nervous but she knew she had to save the unicorn and that she was the only one who could do it.
At 12 o’clock in the afternoon Belle left to save the unicorn. She used her superspeed to run through the forest. She was so fast that by 12:30 she was at the monster’s house. She climbed through the chimney and snuck up on the monster from behind. She does not know what to expect from the monster. The monster looked like a giant dragon-like person and when she saw him she screamed. The monster heard her and turned around. He used his shape-shifting power to turn into a complete dragon and shot fire at Belle. Good thing Belle had her super speed power and her freezing power. She ran away from the dragon and froze the fire. Then she froze the dragon. The monster would only be frozen for a minute so she used her super speed power to grab the baby unicorn. The baby unicorn flew her out of the door. They were safe.
A little while later, they were back at Belle’s house. There, the fairy was waiting for them. The fairy said, “I’m very proud of you, Belle. You overcame your fears and saved the baby unicorn. For that, I want you to keep my power necklace.” “Really,” Belle exclaimed, “Thank you!” The fairy took the baby unicorn and flew away to take the baby unicorn home.
